This privacy statement explains how New North Digital processes the personal data of website visitors, (former) clients and other relations. We value your privacy and therefore make transparent which data we collect, for what purpose and by whom it is used, and what your rights are.
Processing purposes
We process personal data for various reasons, always ensuring the information we collect is proportionate to the intended purpose. You are not obliged to provide us with any information, but if you do not provide all relevant information, we may not be able to assist you.
Contact requests
When you contact us, your request may contain personal data. Contact forms on our website ask for your name, email address and an information request, which is necessary to handle your enquiry adequately and in a timely manner. We retain this data for at least five years.
Service delivery
When you purchase a service or product from us, we process your: first name, last name, email address, business address, postal code, telephone number, payment details, Chamber of Commerce number, VAT number and company name. We retain this data for at least seven years to comply with fiscal retention obligations.
Newsletters
When you subscribe to our newsletter, we process the name and email address you provide. We process this data to keep you informed about our services. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe option. We retain this data until you unsubscribe.
Recruitment
When you apply for a position with us, we collect the personal data in your application. We retain your data for up to four weeks after the end of the application process and up to twelve months in the absence of a specific end date.
Reviews
When you purchase a service from us, we may ask you to leave a review. We process your name, company name, company website and the recorded experience you provide. With your consent, we publish this information on our website for as long as we consider it relevant or until you withdraw your consent.
Website usage
By visiting our website, we collect log data and analytical information about your visit through cookies and other mechanisms. This data is collected anonymously and retained for a maximum of fifty months.
Legal basis
We process your personal data only:
- to comply with a legal obligation;
- to perform a contract;
- with explicitly given consent;
- based on a legitimate interest.
Retention periods
We do not retain personal data longer than necessary for the stated purposes or as required by law and regulation.
Sharing personal data
Your personal data is never shared with third parties without reason. We may share your personal data with our employees, affiliated companies, suppliers or subcontractors insofar as reasonably necessary. Parties that receive access to your data may only use it for services on our behalf.

- You can file a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
You can direct your requests to hello@newnorth.nl. We will comply with your request within a reasonable period, at most one month.

We will take all reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. Although these websites are carefully selected, we bear no responsibility for these third parties and how they handle personal data.
