Ticketing and events
With events, the purchase often takes place in a ticketing provider's system, not on your own site. You have little control over the tracking there, and the visitor leaves your domain at exactly the moment that matters. The result: your analytics and ad platforms barely see the sales, and you don't know which channel sells tickets.
What we do
Fetching the order
We pick up the sale at the ticketing provider and send it server-side to your analytics and ad platforms, with the right source attached.
Across domains
We keep the visitor recognisable from your site into the ticketing provider's checkout, so the sale lands with the right channel.
Consent
The consent a visitor gives on your site travels with them to the purchase.
Working with the ticketing provider
Where needed we advise the ticketing provider itself, with an implementation guide for their dataLayer and measurement. That's how we did it with CM.com.
What we work with
The tools we use for this. Which ones we pick depends on your setup.
“Extensive knowledge, quick thinking, and a great sparring partner. Very satisfied with the collaboration with New North Digital. It is great to have a partner we can confidently entrust tasks to.”
Matthijs VerhagenDoloris01 / 02Frequently asked questions
My ticketing provider offers few tracking settings. Can it still work?
Often, yes. What the provider doesn't send itself, we pick up server-side. And if the provider cooperates, we help them improve their measurement.
Which ticketing providers do you work with?
CM.com, among others. For each provider we look at what their system allows and where we solve it ourselves.
What does it deliver?
At Doloris, after a period of monitoring and debugging, there is now a GA4 setup that is 98% accurate, with marketing channels attributed correctly.
