Offline conversions

Many conversions don't happen on your site: a quote that gets signed, a sale over the phone, a subscription paid after the trial. Your ad platforms don't see that step, so they optimise for what they do see. With offline conversions you send that step back, matched to the click where it started.

What we often hear

  • Google Ads doesn't know which leads become customers
  • The sale happens weeks after the click, outside the website
  • Trial accounts count as conversions, even if they never pay
  • Now and then we upload a list of sales, but nobody knows if it works

What we do

From CRM to platform

Leads and sales from your CRM or payment system back to Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads.

Matched to the click

Through the click ID from the ad, or a hashed email address with Enhanced Conversions and the Meta Conversions API. That way the sale counts for the campaign where it started.

The step that counts

A qualified lead, a quote, a signed deal or a first payment: together we decide which steps you send back, and at what value.

Checked per platform

After go-live we check in each platform that the offline conversions arrive and are matched to a click.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a CRM?

You need a place that records what happens to a lead or customer. Usually that's a CRM, such as HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive, but a payment system like Stripe works too.

Does it work for an online shop?

Yes, when something happens outside your site after the click, such as a sale over the phone or a subscription that's only paid after the trial. For the purchase in your shop itself, see e-commerce tracking.

Is this allowed under the GDPR?

The email address goes to the platform hashed, and only for visitors who gave consent for it. We don't give a legal opinion; that's work for a lawyer.

How to buy it

We work in three steps: first look at what's there, then build, then make sure it keeps working.
