App tracking
In an app you measure with an SDK instead of a tag, and every change has to ship in a release. Often the app tracks different events than the website, installs and purchases don't make it back to Google Ads and Meta, and you lose a user the moment they move from website to app. We write the tracking plan, your developers build it in, and we test until it's right.
What we often hear
- The app tracks different things than the website
- Google Ads and Meta don't see the purchases in the app
- Our developers don't know exactly what to build in
- Something has been off since the last release
What we do
Tracking plan
One list of events and parameters for app and website together. For each event it says when it fires and what it sends, so your developers know exactly what to build.
Firebase and GA4
Firebase and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) set up around the questions you want answered, with the app and website data streams side by side in one property.
Attribution
Which campaign brought in an install and what that user did next. We set up AppsFlyer or Adjust and connect them to your ad platforms.
Ad platforms
Installs, purchases and other conversions from the app reach Google Ads and Meta, so your campaigns optimise on the right signals.
Server-side
App events through your own server container, so you decide which data goes where.
Testing
We test every build event by event in Firebase DebugView and in your ad platforms, and tell your developers per deviation what needs to change.

Frequently asked questions
Do you build the tracking into the app yourselves?
No. We write the tracking plan and the specification, your own developers build it in. Then we test whether everything is right and walk them through what needs to change.
Can we see web and app together in one report?
Yes. With the same event names on web and app, and both data streams in GA4, you see the whole journey. If you want to go beyond the GA4 reports, we put the data in BigQuery.
We already have Firebase. Can you improve it?
Often, yes. With an audit we first look at what is being tracked and what's wrong with it. Usually the foundation stays and we adjust the events, the settings and the connections.
How to buy it
We work in three steps: first look at what's there, then build, then make sure it keeps working.
Audit
Your whole tracking setup reviewed.
Implementation
Your tracking set up properly, from website and app to server.
Monitoring
When something in your tracking breaks, we get an alert within the hour.
